 Scott, owner, is a graduate of Temple University 2006, with a doctorate of Physical Therapy after completing a masters degree in Physical Therapy at Beaver College in 1987. He has practiced in the Gettysburg/Hanover area since 1989. Scott was also the former site administrator of Joyner Sports Medicine in Gettysburg. Scott has special interests in treating post surgical total hip replacements/total knee replacements and orthopedic injuries and works closely with local orthopedic physicians. He is an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer, and has competed in 2 Ironman Triathlon's in Canada and New York, as well as a swim from Alcatraz Island. Scott lives in Gettysburg with his wife Lena Showers and their two daughters. Christy is a graduate of Penn State Mont Alto with an Associate Degree in Science for Physical Therapy Assistant. She lives in York Springs with her husband Larry and their two sons, Jacob & Joshua. Christy enjoys going to the beach and excercising. Darin is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. He lives in Waynesboro with his Fiance Kerry. Darin & Kerry plan to be married in September 2006. Darin enjoys Nascar, Play Station 2, Guitar, Watching Boxing/UFC and Golfing  Marty, co-owner, is a graduate of Indiana University of PA, with a BS in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. He went on to receive two Masters degrees in Biomechanics of Sport and Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware. Marty is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, utilizing these specialties to work with local high school athletes. Marty has special interests in vertigo and work conditioning/work related injuries. He competed in Olympic Weightlifiting and was ranked in the top ten in the 141-148 pound weight class from 1992-1994. Marty is actively involved with AYSO and the Gettysburg Little League. Marty lives in Gettysburg with his wife and their four children. Sarah is a graduate of Carroll County Community College with a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. Sarah also received her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Training from Pennsylvania State Univeristy in 2003. She has taken course instruction in Pilates and is the senior advisor for the SilverSneaker Fitness Program, a nationwide fitness program for seniors. Sarah resides in the Gettysburg area and enjoys playing the piano and violin, gardening, and participates in athletics. Stella is a graduate of Penn State Mont Alto with an Associate Degree in Science Major in PTA. Stella lives in Gettysburg with her daughter Beline who is attending Mansfield University. Stella is involved in all areas of her church activities.  Valerie is a graduate of Medical College of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1983. She lives in New Oxford with her husband and their two children. Mark is a graduate of Penn State Mont Alto with a degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. He lives in the Gettysburg area. Mark enjoys football and ice hockey.  Steve is a 2003 graduate of Gettysburg College with a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Sciences. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcardia University in 2006. Stephen wrestled in the 133 pound weight class at Gettysburg College for four years during which he was a three time Academic All-American. Dr. Kareha is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is a Certified Athletic Trainer. Stephen is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He currently resides in Hanover with his wife Jen. Josh is a 2007 graduate of ...  Nancy is a graduate... Amanda is a graduate of Central Pennsylvania College with a degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She lives in the Gardners area. Amanda enjoys photography and hiking. |
